About SBOF

MOTTO: Impacting lives, changing communities   Preamble   Sunday Bala Oma Foundation is a Non Profit organization, registered with Corporate Affairs Commission Headquarters, on the 15th of November 2013, with registration number CAC/IT/NO 65486. The organization is saddled with the responsibility of advocating for good governance and qualitative education in Nigeria. In the last five years, the organization has impacted more than 24,000 Nigerians across 7 states of the Federation.  These states are Kogi, Bauchi, Benue, Plateau, Bayelsa, Nasarawa and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja. The organization is involved in activities such as organizing annual Seminars, Workshops, Secondary school Essay competitions, visit to orphanage homes, provision of technical support for Internally displaced persons camps, award of excellence to deserving nationalists, annual summer entrepreneurship programmes, jus to mention a few.

Vision & Mission

     Vision To ensure by 2050, 80% of Nigerian communities have access to the five fundamental needs of man. Amongst which are quality education, portable water, constant power, quality education and sound healthcare delivery system.   Mission: To advocate for good governance, train, empower young entrepreneurs and engage in community development services.

Organisational Structure

  Organization Structure Grand patron Lt. Gen Joshua Dogonyaro (CFR) is the Grand Patron of our organization. He is a world class and astute elder’s statesman, whose influence across the world is not in doubt. He was one time the Chief of Defence Staff, Nigerian Arm Forces. Patron & Matron The patron is Engr. Aniefiok Ukobo, an engineer of high repute and a member of COREN. The Matron is Mrs. Victoria Lot. She is a mother and a friend of the organization, whose immense counsel is innumerable. Registered Trustees Chairman : Prof. Simon Yiltok. He is currently the Dean, Faculty of Medical Sciences, University of Jos, Nigeria. Secretary: Assoc. Prof Stephen Anzaku. He is the Dean of Medical School, Bingham University, Abuja, Nigeria. Member: Grace Okekwu. She is an accountant of high repute and also a beneficiary of TY Danjuma Foundation Grants. Member: Hon. Chikak Peter.
